Indoor League Rules

  1. The League will run for one year starting from the Blakedown Scout Group AGM with any prizes awarded at the following Blakedown Scout Group AGM.
  2. Only recurve bows, without any sighting aids, may be used for the Indoor League.
  3. An Indoor League Round consists of 3 dozen arrows, shot in ends of 6 arrows at a 90cm, 10 ring target at a distance of 12 yards.
  4. Scoring will be taken by any other archer, known as the Scorer, with all score sheets being signed by both the Archer and Scorer before being returned to the Scores and Tournaments Officer. There is no requirement to shoot a minimum or maximum number of rounds. The more Indoor shoots an Archer attends, the better their League score.
  5. Prizes may be awarded for:
    1. Most improved archer ie the archer that beats their personal best round the most times in the year allowing novice archers a chance of a prize!
    2. Highest Round Score in the Year
    3. Indoor League Winner
    4. Other awards to be decided, such as Luckiest Shot award, Dead Centre award or a ‘Robin Hood’ award
  6. Junior Associated Members will shoot in a separate League
