Indoor League Rules
- The League will run for one year starting
from the Blakedown Scout Group AGM
with any
prizes awarded at the following Blakedown
Scout Group AGM.
- Only recurve bows, without any sighting aids,
may be used for the Indoor League.
- An Indoor League Round consists of 3 dozen
arrows, shot in ends of 6 arrows
at a 90cm,
10 ring target at a distance of 12
yards.
- Scoring will be taken by any other archer,
known as the Scorer, with all score
sheets
being signed by both the Archer and
Scorer
before being returned to the Scores
and Tournaments
Officer. There is no requirement
to shoot
a minimum or maximum number of rounds.
The
more Indoor shoots an Archer attends,
the
better their League score.
- Prizes may be awarded for:
- Most improved archer ie the archer that beats
their personal best round the most
times
in the year allowing novice archers
a chance
of a prize!
- Highest Round Score in the Year
- Indoor League Winner
- Other awards to be decided, such as Luckiest
Shot award, Dead Centre award or
a ‘Robin
Hood’ award
- Junior Associated Members will shoot in a
separate League
