Indoor Speed Rules
- The League will run for one year starting
from the Blakedown Scout Group AGM
with any
prizes awarded at the following Blakedown
Scout Group AGM.
- Only recurve bows, without any sighting aids,
may be used for the Indoor Speed League.
- An Indoor Speed Round consists of 6 arrows,
shot in one end at a 90cm, 10 ring
target
at a distance of 12 yards.
- A time limit of 30 seconds is imposed to
shoot as many of the 6 arrows as possible.
- Scoring will be taken by any other archer,
known as the Scorer, with all score
sheets
being signed by both the Archer and
Scorer
before being returned to the Scores
and Tournaments
Officer. There is no requirement
to shoot
a minimum or maximum number of rounds.
The
more Indoor shoots an Archer attends,
the
better their League score.
- Junior Associated Members will shoot in a
separate League
